Are you a professional Receptionist looking to step into a stunning, high-profile corporate environment in the heart of the Melbourne CBD? We are currently seeking an experienced, immaculate Corporate Receptionist to cover a 5-week period of leave within a premier financial services firm. Working alongside another established receptionist, you will be the face and voice of a sophisticated office. While this is initially a 5-week contract, there is a genuine opportunity for this role to become permanent as the business expands. We welcome candidates on short-term international working holiday visas, provided you have the relevant corporate experience and local working rights!
Job Responsibility
High-Volume Call Management: Answer, screen, and triage approximately 80–100 calls per day. You will identify whether the caller is on the system and seamlessly transfer them to the appropriate business unit or Customer Service division
Front of House Excellence: Welcome, greet, and support all incoming corporate visitors
Meeting Room Management: Maintain, clear, and prepare state-of-the-art meeting rooms for executive presentations and client visits
Desk Availability: Ensure consistent phone coverage, working collaboratively with a broader support team based in Sydney to ensure no call goes unanswered
General Administration: Assist with ad-hoc office duties to ensure the smooth daily operation of the front desk
Requirements
Reception Experience: Proven prior experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume reception or corporate front-of-house environment
Phone Proficiency: You must be highly confident, articulate, and efficient on the phones. The ability to triage fast-paced client queries accurately is essential
Reliability & Availability: You must be able to commit to the full 5-week duration, be available at the desk during business hours, and be ready to hit the ground running this Monday
Compliance: To be successful, you must be willing to undergo a standard Police Check
