We are seeking an ambitious 1-3 PQE Associate to join a London-based corporate and projects team. This is a transactional role offering exposure to complex, high-value work across corporate, commercial, and projects matters, providing excellent opportunities to develop expertise and work alongside experienced lawyers in a collaborative environment. Job Responsibility:
Projects – Advising on large-scale commercial projects for both private and public clients, including drafting and negotiating key agreements covering development, construction, and operational arrangements
Corporate – Supporting acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions. This includes drafting and reviewing transaction documentation, assisting with due diligence, and preparing board or shareholder documentation
Commercial – Advising on contracts governing the provision of services, partnerships, or supply arrangements across a range of sectors
Cross-border matters – Coordinating with colleagues and local advisers internationally to support multi-jurisdictional transactions and due diligence exercises
Practice development – Contributing to client presentations, briefings, articles, and pitches to support the growth of the team
Requirements:
Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with 1-3 years’ PQE, ideally with transactional experience in corporate, commercial, or projects work
Strong academic background (minimum 2:1 at first degree level)
Excellent analytical and drafting skills, with meticulous attention to detail
Confident communicator, capable of presenting to clients and colleagues at all levels
Self-motivated, proactive, and interested in contributing to business development and practice growth
Commercially aware, with project management skills and the ability to work effectively on multiple matters simultaneously
