For our client, an international company based in Baden, we are looking for a Corporate Procurement Specialist / Global SCM Specialist (m/f/d). General Information: Start: asap Duration: Initial contract of 4 months with extension option based on performance Workplace: Zurich (HQ) / Baden Workload: 50–100% Remote/Home Office: Hybrid – mainly remote, with presence in the Zurich office 1–2 times per week depending on stakeholder needs

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the development and ensure communication and implementation of Corporate Procurement strategies
  • Contribute to the improvement of procurement areas such as Indirect Materials & Services, Risk Management, and Supply Base Management
  • Ensure execution, maintenance, and compliance of assigned procurement activities and initiatives
  • Collaborate in the development and implementation of global procurement strategies related to Indirect Materials & Services, Risk Management, Supplier Management, Quality, and Sustainability
  • Drive implementation of strategic sourcing and supplier risk mitigation efforts
  • Engage with internal stakeholders and support cross-functional procurement activities
  • Promote and ensure procurement compliance and process excellence across projects and categories
  • Sourcing of Indirect Spend Categories
  • Run eRfX for HR, MarCom, Consulting, Financial and Legal Services (Professional Services) and other indirect Services Categories
  • Interact and manage senior stakeholders within the Organization
  • Execute implementation of Procurement Strategies in close alignment with the relevant category teams and business stakeholders
  • Report to the Co-Head of Corporate Procurement

Requirements:

  • Strong Indirect Procurement background required
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and engage senior-level stakeholders (management, C-suite executives)
  • Experience building and maintaining strategic relationships across organizations
  • Strong ability to navigate complex organizational structures and gain buy-in from diverse teams
  • Proven track record managing multiple procurement initiatives simultaneously
  • Ability to drive projects from conception through implementation and closure
  • Experience with timeline management, resource allocation, and risk mitigation
  • Excellent written communication skills (reports, proposals, strategic documentation)
  • Strong presentation and verbal communication abilities for executive-level discussions
  • Capable of translating complex procurement concepts for various audiences
  • Strategic thinking approach to procurement challenges
  • Analytical mindset with ability to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions
  • Creative approach to improving processes and supplier relationships
  • Fluency in English is required
  • German is a strong advantage
