This is a Cactus Wellhead position and the Aircraft is located in Sugar Land. Flights- As needed basis. JOB SUMMARY: The First Officer supports the Pilot in Command (PIC) in the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of company aircraft. This role collaborates closely with the PIC, Chief Pilot, and company leadership to ensure successful flight missions while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service. The First Officer is responsible for assisting in flight preparation, execution, and post-flight duties, and must be prepared to assume PIC responsibilities if required.
Job Responsibility:
Assist the Pilot in Command in all phases of flight operations, including pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight activities
Ensure aircraft readiness, including inspections, cleanliness, stocking, and required documentation
Adhere to all applicable safety, health, environmental, and regulatory requirements (FAA/FAR/AIM and other governing bodies)
Maintain current knowledge of aviation regulations, industry standards, and company procedures
Operate in full compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and demonstrate effective Crew Resource Management (CRM)
Support flight planning, navigation, communication, and operational decision-making
Maintain accurate flight records and required documentation
Provide a high level of customer service and professionalism to passengers and stakeholders
Coordinate with flight department personnel, maintenance teams, and operations to ensure seamless mission execution
Monitor and report any safety, operational, or maintenance concerns
Be prepared to assume Pilot in Command responsibilities if necessary
Represent the company professionally at all times while interacting with passengers, airport personnel, and external partners
Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned by the Chief Pilot or management
Requirements:
Experience flying- Challenger 300/350 Preferred
Hold second-class medical certificate
Logged a minimum of 3,000 flight hours
International flight experience
Hold a commercial certificate with appropriate category and class ratings
Hold an instrument rating
International jet experience- Challenger 300/350 preferred
Meet all currency requirements regarding instrument flight time and night landings prior to flying any required trips
Be able to pass an instrument competency check in the category of aircraft to be flown
Nice to have:
Jet time in a Pilot-in-Command or SIC capacity is preferred
