Job Description:

This role focuses on supporting trademark-related activities, including enforcement and management, while ensuring compliance with brand guidelines. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and oversee deadlines for trademark filings, ensuring all submissions are completed accurately and on time
  • Apply trademark and brand guidelines to internal content, ensuring proper brand representation across the organization
  • Collaborate with various business teams to address and correct brand misuse effectively
  • Conduct investigations into trademark misuses and assist in enforcement actions, including drafting enforcement letters and updating relevant records
  • Utilize trademark management software to maintain and organize trademark portfolios efficiently
  • Support domain name registration processes and assist with related proceedings
  • Research websites, social media platforms, and advertisements to identify instances of brand misuse
  • Monitor and track trademark infringement cases, generating detailed reports using automated tools

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of U.S. trademark laws and procedures, including practices before the U.S. trademark office
  • Proficiency in trademark management software and other case management tools
  • Experience with trademark prosecution, renewals, and application processes
  • Knowledge of domain name registration procedures and handling related proceedings
  • Ability to investigate and address trademark infringement cases effectively
  • Familiarity with intellectual property and trademark enforcement strategies
  • Excellent research skills, particularly in identifying brand misuse across digital platforms
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
