Robert Half Legal is partnering with a high-growth restaurant hospitality group located in Chicago who is seeking to hire a Corporate Paralegal with at least 3-5+ years of experience to join their in-house legal team. This Corporate Paralegal will directly support the General Counsel in handling a broad range of legal matters including corporate entity maintenance, real estate leases, contracts administration, business licensing, litigation support, advertising, data privacy, IP, and more. This position is paying between $70-90K base salary. This company is located near Lincoln Park and offers the flexibility to work from home at least 1x per week. Job Responsibility
Support corporate entity administration by helping with formation documents, annual filings, registrations, and ongoing record upkeep
Maintain orderly and current corporate records, including governance documents and required entity-related filings
Oversee legal agreements from initial intake through execution and renewal, with a focus on lease-related and commercial contract documentation
Coordinate litigation support activities by organizing case materials, tracking pleadings, and maintaining accurate filing records in internal databases
Monitor the legal team’s calendar to ensure court dates, submission deadlines, compliance obligations, and other critical milestones are met on time
Assist with business licensing needs across various locations and jurisdictions by preparing paperwork, tracking status updates, and supporting renewals
Review, organize, and process billing from outside counsel and other legal vendors to support accurate invoice management
Partner with internal stakeholders to gather documents and information needed for legal reviews, filings, and contract follow-up
Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the General Counsel as needed
Requirements
Bachelor Degree and Paralegal Certificate are preferred
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience handling commercial real estate transactions
Experience in corporate entity maintenance, business licensing, and contract administration including leases
Prior experience supporting attorneys in-house or in a hospitality company highly preferred
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities
