We are looking for an experienced Corporate Paralegal to join our dynamic and fast-paced legal team in Dallas, Texas. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a strong background in corporate governance, legal operations, and compliance. As a key contributor, you will ensure the efficiency and accuracy of legal processes while supporting high-visibility corporate projects.
Job Responsibility:
Streamline legal operations by enhancing workflows, improving collaboration, and centralizing processes
Oversee contract lifecycle management, including intake, review coordination, tracking, and renewal workflows
Support mergers and acquisitions by organizing data rooms, managing document requests, and tracking deliverables during transactions
Maintain real estate lease databases, track critical dates, coordinate amendments, and ensure compliance across the organization
Prepare board materials, manage entity records, and oversee annual filings to uphold corporate governance standards
Collaborate with vendors and outside counsel to manage onboarding, billing oversight, and performance tracking
Implement risk mitigation strategies by ensuring accurate documentation and strengthening internal controls
Identify gaps in processes, introduce best practices, and improve operational systems within the legal department
Assist in selecting, testing, and deploying legal technology tools to enhance transparency and efficiency
Requirements:
Minimum of 7 years of experience as a corporate or in-house paralegal
Proven expertise in contract management, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Familiarity with case management software and legal technology tools
Experience in vendor management and risk mitigation strategies
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally
