Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal to support a fast-paced legal team in Dallas, Texas, with a strong focus on litigation and dispute management within labor and employment matters. This role is deeply embedded in the litigation process—helping drive case readiness, support strategy execution, and ensure attorneys are prepared across grievances, arbitration, and contested proceedings. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-stakes, deadline-driven environment, is highly detail-oriented, and can proactively manage competing priorities while working closely with attorneys and internal stakeholders on active disputes.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct in-depth legal and regulatory research in support of active litigation, including labor and employment disputes, and distill findings into clear, actionable summaries for case strategy
  • Draft, review, and finalize litigation-focused documents, including grievances, position statements, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, correspondence, and pleadings
  • Manage all aspects of litigation workflow, including docketing deadlines, tracking case developments, maintaining litigation files, and ensuring full compliance with procedural requirements
  • Support discovery processes end-to-end, including document collection, review coordination, privilege log preparation, and organization of responsive materials
  • Prepare attorneys for arbitrations, hearings, depositions, and trial, including assembling exhibits, chronologies, witness files, and evidentiary materials
  • Analyze case facts against prior disputes to identify risk exposure, patterns, and precedent, contributing to more informed litigation strategy
  • Serve as a central point of coordination for high-volume, time-sensitive litigation matters, ensuring responsiveness and accuracy under pressure
  • Partner with internal teams (HR, operations, IT) to support litigation reporting, data tracking, and case analytics, including use of tools like Power BI
  • Provide litigation-related administrative support, including hearing logistics, deposition scheduling, travel coordination, expense tracking, and maintaining organized case files and records

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in a paralegal or legal assistant position supporting complex legal matters
  • Practical knowledge of labor and employment law, including exposure to grievances, arbitration, discovery, or litigation support
  • Proficiency with legal research resources such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, Bloomberg Law, or similar platforms
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and the ability to work effectively with case tracking and document management tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information with sound judgment
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a proven capacity to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-moving environment

Nice to have

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • paralegal certification is advantageous
  • Experience in union environments, regulated industries, or transportation-related organizations is helpful

What we offer

  • Medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance
  • 401(k) plan
