We are looking for an experienced Corporate Paralegal to join our team in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will contribute to the legal and corporate operations of multiple AI-focused companies within our portfolio. This position offers a dynamic environment where you will collaborate with internal leadership and external counsel, gaining exposure to venture-backed enterprises, corporate transactions, and fast-paced technology businesses.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist with the formation and compliance of corporate entities across various operating companies
  • Draft and organize key documents, including operating agreements, board resolutions, contracts, and internal policies under attorney supervision
  • Manage corporate records, compliance schedules, and document repositories to ensure accurate and up-to-date filings
  • Support transactions and financings by coordinating signatures, tracking deliverables, and overseeing closing checklists
  • Collaborate with external legal counsel and internal stakeholders to facilitate the timely execution of legal processes
  • Maintain and update legal templates, standard documents, and workflows to streamline operations
  • Provide day-to-day legal support to executives and founders, ensuring efficient management of legal tasks and processes

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a corporate paralegal or legal assistant within a law firm, startup, or in-house legal department
  • Solid understanding of U.S. corporate law fundamentals, including entity formation, governance, and contracts
  • Proven ability to manage legal documents and assist with transactions or financing processes
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiasm for technology companies and familiarity with startup ecosystems
