Job Description

The Corporate Narrative and Reporting Lead is responsible for shaping how Climeworks communicates its strategy, performance, progress and impact to key audiences. Reporting to the VP Communications & Branding, this role leads the development of Climeworks’ corporate narrative and strategic messaging, ensuring a clear, consistent and compelling story across executive communications, thought leadership, corporate channels and major reporting outputs, including the Annual Report, Sustainability Report and quarterly investor reporting. Working at the intersection of communications, strategy and business performance, the role partners closely with teams across Finance, Commercial, Operations, and Technology to translate complex information into clear, credible and compelling communications. This is a senior, writing-led role for someone who combines outstanding editorial skills with strong business judgment and the ability to work effectively with senior leaders across the organization.

Job Responsibility

  • Own and evolve Climeworks’ corporate narrative, positioning, messaging framework and supporting proof points
  • Develop messaging for key strategic priorities, market developments, partnerships, company milestones and corporate issues
  • Ensure consistency and clarity across how Climeworks communicates its business, strategy, progress and impact
  • Lead the development and delivery of Climeworks’ Annual Report, Sustainability Report and quarterly investor reporting
  • Own the narrative, editorial structure, messaging and drafting of these reports, ensuring they tell a clear and coherent story of company performance and progress
  • Partner with the various units and senior leadership teams to gather inputs and translate them into high-quality reporting content
  • Manage reporting timelines, content development and stakeholder review processes from planning through to publication
  • Support the VP Communications & Branding in developing high-impact executive communications, including speeches, op-eds, articles, LinkedIn content

Requirements

  • Around 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, financial communications, investor communications, journalism, corporate reporting, sustainability communications or a related field
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and persuasively
  • Strong experience developing corporate narratives, strategic messaging and executive communications
  • Significant experience leading or contributing to annual reports, sustainability reports, investor communications or other major corporate publications
  • Strong understanding of business strategy, corporate performance and stakeholder communications
  • Excellent editorial judgement and the ability to identify the most important story within complex information
  • Experience working with senior executives and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in climate, sustainability, energy, technology, infrastructure or other complex industrial sectors is preferred
