Job Responsibility

Provide legal counsel to Barclays’ leveraged finance and institutional lending businesses and its international corporate banking business
Advise on the structuring, negotiation, syndication, and post-closing management of a variety of domestic and cross-border financing transactions
Counsel internal stakeholders on key strategic initiatives
Draft and negotiate a wide variety of complex transaction documentation, contracts, and syndication and marketing materials
Instruct and oversee external counsel engagements
Participate in industry working groups
Advise internal stakeholders on legal, contractual, and reputational risks, market terms and developments, and changes to the legal and regulatory landscape
Work closely with other members of the Investment Banking Legal team to support internal projects, enhance policies and procedures, lead legal and compliance trainings, and maintain and update template documentation
