Job Description:

The Corporate Insurance Risk Executive Group Manager manages Citi's Corporate Insurance and Risk Management function (CIRM) and is responsible for developing and executing strategies in areas of insurance placement, risk financing, and compliance. The role involves accountability for capital management, end-to-end oversight of CIRM activities, and leadership responsibilities for multiple teams.

Job Responsibility:

Leads Citi’s Corporate Insurance and Risk Management (CIRM) function
Develop strategy and execute risk financing activities including placement and administration of property/casualty insurance programs and management of captive insurance company
Develop strategy and execute insurance claims management, appointment and oversight of third-party administrators, actuarial reviews, loss engineering and risk control activities
Provide insurance support to business units and senior/business risk managers for various business specific insurance needs including political risks and specific credit insurance placements
Offer risk management advisory services to business units, approval/monitoring of local insurance purchasing, insurers, and insurance brokers
Ensure accurate and timely financial and regulatory reporting and compliance deliverables for CIRM and captive insurance legal entity
Be accountable for capital and investment management related to self-insured program
Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, taking into consideration the firm's reputation, and safeguarding the company, its clients, and assets
Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations
Supervise the activity of others effectively and create accountability
Negotiate and make independent decisions on property/casualty insurance related issues/activities that have critical impact or influence on company revenues, capital, or business operations

Requirements:

15+ years relevant experience at a senior decision-making level
Managerial experience
Experience in insurance industry
Bachelor’s/University degree
Master’s degree preferred
ARM/CPCU preferred

Nice to have:

Master’s degree
ARM/CPCU certification
