A nationally recognized law firm focused on corporate governance, shareholder rights, and securities litigation is seeking to expand its litigation practice. The firm represents institutional investors, including public pension funds, banks, asset managers, and insurance companies, in high-stakes matters involving corporate misconduct and governance reform. Job Responsibility

  • Represent institutional investors in complex corporate governance and fiduciary duty litigation
  • Take an active role in multiple sophisticated matters, often working opposite significantly more senior counsel
  • Contribute to precedent-setting cases involving mergers, self-dealing, executive compensation, and shareholder rights
  • Perform financial and legal analysis to support litigation strategy
  • Thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced, and intellectually demanding environment

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor required
  • preferred graduation years 2018–2022 (flexibility for exceptional candidates)
  • Admission to the Delaware Bar preferred
  • New York Bar admission also considered
  • Meaningful experience in one or more of the following areas: Complex stockholder or commercial litigation
  • Delaware corporate law or breach of fiduciary duty litigation
  • Delaware Chancery Court or Delaware Supreme Court judicial clerkship strongly preferred
  • Experience with Chancery Court, merger, fiduciary duty, and/or appraisal litigation is a plus
  • Strong financial literacy required
  • Ability to manage a steep learning curve with initiative and independence
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, ownership-driven approach
  • Desire to represent investors rather than corporations
  • Excellent time management, multitasking, and communication skills

Nice to have

  • Delaware Chancery Court or Delaware Supreme Court judicial clerkship
  • Experience with Chancery Court, merger, fiduciary duty, and/or appraisal litigation
