Job Description:

We have a permanent, full-time position available with a competitive pay and benefits package including a starting salary of £48,100 per annum, rising to £51,890 per annum after key competencies of the role are achieved. We are looking for a Corporate Governance and Compliance Manager who will be responsible for managing board & committees, corporate governance and compliance, data protection and central administration functions. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, this is a key role which contributes to the effective delivery of the organisation’s corporate governance and compliance service by ensuring robust governance arrangements are in place including organisation resilience and continuous improvement with the application of best practice in governance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing board & committees, corporate governance and compliance, data protection and central administration functions
  • Leading the organisation’s corporate governance and corporate compliance services
  • Leading a high functioning data protection service
  • Leading the central administration team
  • Manage Board and Committee and share membership including recruitment, appointment, onboarding, training, appraisal, processing of remuneration & expenses and exit

Requirements:

  • Educated to level 5, in a relevant qualification suitable for the role or equivalent experience
  • Level 5 ILM Leadership, or commitment to work towards
  • Competence in carrying out a role of a similar nature
  • Detailed knowledge of Governance, Welsh Housing regulation & legislation and Data Protection
