The FP&A Manager leads monthly close reporting for LNA. They work closely with Regional Finance Managers and lead direct reports to understand and explain business variances verses budget, previous year, and forecasts. This role is the key contact with Global Lhoist HQ for Group reporting questions/initiatives.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the Sales & EBITDA Forecasting Process
Lead FP&A Analysts to ensure Sales Forecasts are uploaded into system prior to all deadlines
Coordinate with Regional Finance Managers to ensure EBITDA forecasts are loaded into system prior to deadlines
Oversee the variance analysis at the LNA level and ensure data is loaded into BPC and group reporting packages are completed on time
Lead the Annual Budget Process
Be a conduit for information flow to and from stakeholders (Regional Finance, Sales, Ops.) to ensure precision and completeness of annual budget
Develop and disseminate the budget calendar
Ensure all timelines are met
Develop and Lead Monthly LNA KPI & Reporting package
Ensure that all deadlines and requests for further analysis are met
Guarantee common formats are maintained between the regions
Demonstrate exceptional presentation and story-telling skills
Gain a strong understanding of the business and ability to speak knowledgeably about operational initiatives
Identify LNA Reporting Needs
Consistently review LNA reports for needed updates and additional reporting requirements
Work with Regional Finance Managers to leverage regional reporting for LNA Level Reporting
Perform Special Projects
Analyze potential acquisitions and additional capital expansion
Provide ad hoc project analysis construction and presentation
Support new project analysis, review and recommendation
Assess risks and opportunities in the business and work with the management team to address and resolve issues in a timely manner
Perform other duties as needed or assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
5-7 years of accounting and business partnering experience
Experience with financial planning and analysis including analyzing P&L statements, Balance Sheets and Cash Flow Statements
Experienced in analyzing and interpreting complex data, including modeling
Strong understanding of financial operations, business planning and forecast processes
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and handle large amounts of data both operational and financial in a multi-user platform
Demonstrated leadership/communication skills with all levels
Demonstrated accomplishments in the areas of finance and accounting as well as operational activities
Must work well with others within and outside the Finance Department and can think "outside the box"
Demonstrated ability to foster teamwork and develop strong finance teams
Ability to assess risks and opportunities within complex business situations
Ability to recommend and make decisions quickly
Must have proven hands-on experience in month end closing for multiple plant, multiple state environment
Excellent PC skills with emphasis on Microsoft Excel, and prior experience working with large network ERP system (SAP knowledge including reporting)
Familiarity with average costing and standard cost systems, inventory control procedures, and systems
Knowledge of various forms of freight and commodity raw materials (mining and manufacturing background preferred)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Successful completion of background check and/or drug screening (if applicable)
Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or shifts as required by business needs
Ability to travel up to 10% as needed

Nice to have:
Graduate degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
FP&A experience leading teams, experience in a manufacturing environment
