Job Description:

This Manager role in Corporate Finance involves managing client interactions, preparing financial forecasts, leading advisory and due diligence projects, and ensuring high-quality output.

Job Responsibility:

  • Discussing and finalising IM / business plan and teaser with the client
  • Reviewing three year integrated basic financial forecast
  • Discussing initial offers with the client and agreeing course of action
  • Negotiating with interested parties to elicit final offers
  • Drafting Heads of Terms on more complex transactions
  • Reviewing Heads of Terms on less complex transactions
  • Negotiating the heads of terms with the preferred interested party
  • Reviewing the information for the due diligence request
  • Issuing engagement letter to the client and discussing any queries/ proposed alterations
  • Budgeting costs for assignment
  • Initial planning meeting with client
  • Identifying key risk areas and recommending ways on how to mitigate them
  • Reviewing analysis in Data packs
  • Performing any Completion Accounts work post FDD project
  • Providing feedback and identifying need for training staff and providing tailor made training and resource materials to juniors
  • Raising invoices and discussing fees with clients if necessary
  • Ensuring all key emails during the Transaction have been saved in client file folder
  • Discussing with the client a need for a revised fees if major changes noted in the revised info provided by client
  • Attending and supporting on Client meetings
  • Identifying key risk areas and (for financial model) key sensitivities & impact
  • Reviewing non reliance and hold harmless letters

Requirements:

  • An accountancy qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CA)
  • Relevant experience in corporate finance, including managing client interactions, preparing financial forecasts, and leading advisory and due diligence projects
