Job Description:

Join a prominent international consulting firm renowned for its expertise in cross-border transactions and strategic business advisory. This internship offers a rare, front-row seat to the world of Mergers & Acquisitions, where you will support senior consultants in executing complex deals across the Southeast Asian region. This is not a coffee-run internship; you will be an active member of the project team, gaining hands-on experience in financial modeling and strategic research.

Job Responsibility:

  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct deep-dive research into industries and potential target companies to identify strategic M&A opportunities
  • Financial Modeling: Assist in the preparation of valuation models (DCF, Trading Comps, etc.) and perform financial statement analysis
  • Deal Documentation: Help draft high-impact teasers, Information Memorandums (IMs), and management presentations for C-suite clients
  • Due Diligence Support: Assist the team in managing virtual data rooms and coordinating the financial due diligence process
  • Strategic Ad-hoc Tasks: Support the Strategy Office with internal consulting projects to enhance operational efficiency

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or a recent graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance, Economics, or Business Management
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint is essential
  • familiarity with financial valuation concepts is a plus
  • A professional curiosity to ask why and deconstruct complex business issues from multiple angles
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to write clear, concise reports
