Job Description

EDP Renewables is a global leader in the renewable energy sector and the fourth-largest wind energy producer. Our company is part of EDP, a global energy group present in around 30 markets with a particular emphasis on renewable energies.

Job Responsibility

  • Analyze and support investment opportunities for surplus cash
  • Participate in transactional and short-term FX hedging activities
  • Assist in implementation projects related to treasury and finance products
  • Collaborate with global business units and countries across the group
  • Engage in bank relationship management and communications
  • Perform cash and financial operations as needed
  • Liaise with the Shared Service Center on forecasts, payments, and other services
  • Prepare and analyze treasury reports, including cash flow forecasts, liquidity reports, and investment summaries
  • Support treasury-related projects and initiatives as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's program in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite for reporting and analysis
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of treasury systems or financial tools (SAP, Kyriba, etc.)
  • Interest in corporate finance and global markets
  • Curious and eager to learn
