Requirements

3+ years of commercial or high-end residential painting experience required
Experience in general building maintenance or handyman work
Excellent knowledge of surface preparation, application techniques, and materials
Strong eye for detail, color matching, and finish quality
Ability to read and follow specifications, blueprints, and work orders
Professional appearance and demeanor

Job Responsibility

Perform high-quality interior and exterior painting, including walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and specialty surfaces
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching holes, and caulking as needed to ensure smooth finishes
Select and mix paints and finishes to match existing colors and specifications
Maintain cleanliness and protection of surrounding areas with drop cloths, masking, and proper containment
Conduct post-painting touch-ups and inspections to meet Class A commercial standards
Perform minor repairs such as drywall patching, hardware replacement, door adjustments, and ceiling tile swaps
Assist with maintenance of fixtures, furnishings, and equipment
Respond to work orders and service requests in a timely and professional manner
Conduct regular walk-throughs to identify and proactively address aesthetic and maintenance issues
Assist with small renovation or upgrade projects
