Job Description:

The EHS Corporate Intern at Ericsson supports Environment, Health & Safety initiatives across network deployment, managed services, and corporate operations. This role contributes to maintaining Ericsson’s global commitment to safety, sustainability, and regulatory compliance while supporting both office and field-based telecom activities. The role also supports digital EHS initiatives, including development and maintenance of web-based content and internal platforms.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist in implementing Ericsson’s global EHS management systems and North America compliance programs
  • Support safety audits and inspections for telecom infrastructure projects (e.g., cell sites, small cells, data centers)
  • Help monitor contractor and field technician safety performance, including PPE compliance and safe work practices
  • Analyze EHS data (incident reports, near misses, KPIs) and prepare dashboards and reports
  • Participate in incident investigations and contribute to root cause analysis and corrective action tracking
  • Assist with environmental initiatives such as waste management, hazardous material handling, and sustainability reporting
  • Develop and update EHS communications, training materials, and toolbox talks aligned with Ericsson standards
  • Support documentation and compliance with regulations (e.g., OSHA, local/state requirements)
  • Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining EHS content on internal websites or intranet platforms (e.g., SharePoint)
  • Support organization and optimization of web content to improve usability, accessibility, and user experience
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to publish digital resources such as training pages, guidance documents, and EHS dashboards

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field
  • Basic knowledge of EHS regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in both office and field environments

Nice to have:

  • Interest in telecom/network infrastructure and field operations
  • Familiarity with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
  • Exposure to construction or contractor safety programs
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
  • Familiarity with web content management systems (e.g., SharePoint) or basic HTML/CSS is a plus
