Job Responsibility
Advise on commercial finance, secured lending, financial services, and complex commercial transactions
Support strategic initiatives, including new business models, partnerships, treasury matters, restructurings, and cross-functional projects
Counsel business leaders on privacy, regulatory compliance, procurement, contracting, and operational legal matters
Collaborate with executives, business teams, and outside counsel to deliver practical, risk-balanced legal solutions
Requirements
JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing
6+ years of legal experience gained in-house, at a law firm, or a combination of both
Strong business partnership skills and an approachable, collaborative style
Ability to thrive in a changing environment and contribute to organizational transformation
Experience supporting a captive finance company is highly valued
Candidates who are excited about change management, building relationships, and helping create a new culture will be especially successful
Experience in at least two of the following areas: Commercial Finance, Secured Lending, Financial Services, Corporate & Securities, Commercial Contracts, Procurement, Privacy/Data Protection, Regulatory Compliance, General In-House Counseling
