Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal or compliance experience in the healthcare industry

Job Responsibility

Advise internal business teams on compliance with Baxter’s policies and procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and industry codes to support execution of ethical business initiatives
Increase partnership with internal business teams to promote a culture of integrity and accountability through focused and effective communication, training, and engagement
Support internal E&C outreach and awareness campaigns
Develop and deliver compliance training and communications that advance the E&C Program
Partner with Legal and other cross- functional teams to identify and mitigate compliance risks while enabling business objectives
Work with cross functional teams, including the E&C operations team, to support the implementation and continuous improvement of Baxter’s E&C Program
Escalate issues as appropriate and collaborate with Legal and Compliance leadership on risk management strategies
Monitor and stay current on changes in healthcare laws, regulations, and industry codes, and assess their impact on business activities
Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
