Job Description:

T-Mobile has an exciting opportunity for an attorney to join its Legal Team and work at one of its corporate headquarters in Overland Park, KS, Bellevue, WA or Frisco, TX primarily supporting telecommunication transactions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Negotiate, draft, and revise complex commercial agreements in diverse telecommunications areas such as backhaul/transport, roaming, small cells, and interconnection
  • Serve as trusted advisor for internal business clients across a range of cross-functional teams
  • Advise on a broad range of strategic legal and business matters
  • Provide business-practical solutions. Advise the business in assessing short-term tradeoffs in the context of broader strategic imperatives
  • Drive departmental initiatives, including the development or redesign of legal support processes to increase efficiency and better align to the needs of the business

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience as a corporate, transactional, or licensing attorney, with top law firm and/or relevant in-house experience
  • Impeccable attention to detail and strong sense of pride in work product
  • Juris Doctor from an accredited university
  • Current bar membership (in good standing) in at least one U.S. state
  • eligibility for admission to Washington, Kansas, or Texas bar
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to interact with senior management with strong executive maturity
  • Keen pragmatic business sense with solid judgment and analytical skills, including the ability to translate the needs of senior leaders into action
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently, meet demanding deadlines, and balance multiple tasks in a dynamic environment with ambiguous and ever-changing priorities
