This role involves resolving complex landlord-tenant disputes, negotiating lease amendments and settlements, and ensuring compliance with property agreements to support our best-in-class 5G network. This role also advises on the acquisition, disposition, and operation of critical network real estate assets, including master lease agreements, DAS/in-building agreements for venues like stadiums and airports, and teaming agreements with other carriers. Job Responsibility:
Drive Strategic Negotiations: Lead negotiations for complex real estate and commercial agreements
Provide Expert Legal Guidance: Offer strategic counsel on land use, zoning, and permitting matters for wireless siting
Champion Regulatory Innovation: Analyze and influence local ordinances and codes to facilitate wireless infrastructure deployment
Build Government Relationships: Forge impactful partnerships with state, local, and federal agencies to advance wireless deployment initiatives
Enhance Legal Efficiency: Design and implement tools and processes that streamline legal services and promote consistency across regions and functions
Lead Training Initiatives: Co-create training materials and deliver sessions to T-Mobile attorneys, development teams, and vendors
Optimize Cost Management: Oversee external legal resources and outside counsel, driving cost-effective solutions aligned with T-Mobile’s high standards
Requirements:
Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school
Admission to a state bar, with eligibility to practice as in-house counsel in Washington State
2-4 years of relevant in-house or law firm experience
Strong time management skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proven ability to collaborate with other legal and business professionals
Results-oriented and customer-focused
Ability to work efficiently, meet demanding deadlines, and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
