T-Mobile is looking for an organized, detail-oriented, proactive lawyer to support the company’s national security compliance team, which has principal responsibility for overseeing compliance with a complex set of legal, regulatory and contractual requirements. In this role, you will provide strategic legal advice, direct and support investigations of compliance inquiries, prepare any required reporting and work cross-functionally with legal, technical and operational teams in support of T-Mobile’s national security compliance program. The ideal candidate is an experienced lawyer who can think analytically and collaborate effectively. Candidates must be U.S. citizens given the nature of this role.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide actionable legal and regulatory guidance to cross-functional partners on national security compliance risks and requirements
  • Support national security governance activities, including interpretation and implementation of new or evolving compliance obligations
  • Support internal investigations and compliance inquiries, including issue identification, legal analysis, and recommended remediation
  • Drive enhancements to the national security compliance program to reduce risk, improve operational effectiveness, and support T-Mobile’s national security strategy
  • Communicate obligations and expectations clearly to legal, technical, and operational stakeholders, and advocate for practical, scalable solutions
  • Draft, review, and coordinate required regulatory, contractual, and internal reporting

Requirements:

  • 2 - 4+ years of experience as an attorney with relevant government, in-house, or law firm experience
  • Strongly prefer 4+ years of experience focused on National Security Compliance
  • A solution-oriented attitude, a bias for action, and a deep curiosity that drives you to dive into and help solve complex issues
  • Strong analytical thinking and written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other legal and business professionals at all levels in a complex organization
  • Ability to deliver legal guidance on tight deadlines
  • Licensed and admitted to practice law in any State
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • U.S. citizenship
