T-Mobile is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Corporate Counsel to join its Legal team, supporting consumer litigation and dispute resolution matters. This role will be a key member of the Consumer Litigation team, responsible for managing a high-volume docket of consumer disputes, including litigation and arbitration. The ideal candidate is a business-minded attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of matters end-to-end, and delivers practical, risk-based legal guidance. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders across Care, Executive Response, and other customer-facing teams to support T-Mobile’s commitment to exceptional customer experience while effectively managing legal risk
Job Responsibility
Manage a high-volume docket of consumer litigation and arbitration matters, including individual federal and state claims, small claims matters, and arbitrations
Serve as a hands-on attorney on assigned matters, including developing case strategy, actively assisting with all aspects of litigation, and driving resolution
Oversee and strategically direct outside counsel, ensuring alignment with company consumer litigation and arbitration strategy, while ensuring efficient use of resources
Partner cross-functionally with Care, Executive Response, and other business teams to resolve disputes and improve customer outcomes
Identify trends and recurring consumer issues and proactively advise the business on risk mitigation and process improvements
Support small claims and arbitration programs, including preparing internal stakeholders and, where appropriate, handling aspects of matters directly
Assist in managing individual and mass arbitration matters and aligning with the broader consumer litigation strategy
Evaluate when to handle matters internally versus leveraging outside counsel, with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness
Contribute to continuous improvement of litigation processes, tools, and strategies to enhance scalability and consistency
Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and willingness to get a Kansas Bar License
2-4 years of experience as a business attorney, with relevant in-house and/or top law firm transitional experience
Preferred 4–7 years of relevant legal experience, with a focus on consumer litigation, arbitration, or dispute resolution
Experience managing a high-volume docket and balancing competing priorities
Demonstrated ability to independently handle litigation matters and work effectively managing outside counsel
Strong business judgment and ability to provide practical, solution-oriented legal advice
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized, proactive, and able to anticipate issues and drive efficient outcomes
Experience in telecommunications, consumer protection, or similarly regulated industries is a plus
At least 18 years of age
