Robert Half is partnering with one of their established manufacturing clients on their search for a Corporate Controller to oversee financial operations and reporting for their multiple manufacturing facilities. This role requires strong expertise in cost accounting, financial statement preparation, and compliance with GAAP standards. Job Responsibility:
Manage the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Oversee manufacturing cost accounting processes, including standard cost analysis and variance reporting
Prepare and consolidate financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards
Analyze financial performance and provide insights to support strategic business decisions
Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory compliance requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and improve operational efficiency
Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals to achieve departmental goals
Develop and implement policies to enhance financial reporting accuracy and transparency
Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and addressing auditor inquiries
Evaluate and improve cost management strategies to drive profitability
Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting or financial management within manufacturing
Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience in financial statement preparation and consolidation
Proficiency in manufacturing cost accounting, including standard costing and variance analysis
Demonstrated expertise in managing month-end close processes and financial reporting
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
Strong leadership and team management skills to guide and develop staff
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
