Job Description

We are looking for an experienced (3+yrs) Corporate /Compliance Paralegal to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role requires someone with a keen attention to detail, a strong background in corporate law and compliance, and the ability to provide support across various legal functions. The position offers the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to key projects and organizational compliance initiatives.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist with the management and review of 263 corporate policies to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
  • Coordinate efforts to transition documentation and policies between platforms (Sharepoint to NAVEX One) ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Conduct legal research and support discovery processes in civil litigation cases
  • Prepare trial materials and assist attorneys with trial preparation activities
  • Utilize case management software to maintain organized and up-to-date case files
  • Collaborate on compliance reporting and ensure adherence to healthcare regulations
  • Provide expertise in pharmacy benefit and pharmacy management compliance matters
  • Monitor and analyze regulatory updates to maintain compliance standards
  • Support the legal team in drafting and reviewing contracts and agreements

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a corporate paralegal or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in GRC systems such as NAVEX One
  • Experience in pharmacy benefit and pharmacy management compliance is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of civil litigation processes and discovery procedures
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance reporting
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Capability to work independently and remotely while meeting deadlines

Nice to have

Experience in pharmacy benefit and pharmacy management compliance is highly desirable
