Job Description

Corporate Communications Specialist – HR & DE&I. You will join an internationally operating organization within the financial services sector. The organization is professionally structured and operates in a complex, continuously evolving environment. Collaboration, quality and development are key, with strong attention to people, culture and inclusion. Technology and digitalization support daily operations and play an increasingly important role in internal communication and collaboration. The Corporate Communications Specialist role is part of a central communications team responsible for internal communication and supporting organization-wide topics. In this role, you will work closely with HR and act as a dedicated communications partner to HR leadership. You will: report to the Head of Corporate Communications; advise the HR Management Team; work closely with the CHRO on the further development of the DE&I agenda; collaborate with colleagues across multiple countries. A visible and substantive role in which you can make a real impact on how HR and DE&I are experienced and understood across the organization. You will have the opportunity to contribute ideas, drive improvements and help shape direction within a professional and engaged working environment. You are responsible for communications related to HR topics such as leadership, performance management, rewards, talent development, employer branding, recruitment and onboarding, and diversity, equity & inclusion. Through your work, you contribute to a strong organizational culture and well-informed, engaged employees.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and execute communication approaches for HR initiatives
  • Write and edit internal communications, ranging from news articles to policy explanations
  • Organize and facilitate internal meetings and information sessions
  • Position and promote HR programs internally
  • Support the CHRO in coordinating and following up on DE&I initiatives
  • Liaise with Employee Resource Groups and ensure consistent communication
  • Coordinate HR communications across teams and countries
  • Identify communication needs among management and other stakeholders
  • Translate complex topics into clear, inclusive and accessible messages
  • Develop ideas that stimulate interaction and employee engagement

Requirements

  • A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Communications
  • At least 5 years of experience in corporate or internal communications with a strong HR focus
  • Experience in a larger, professionally structured organization
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Experience in advisory roles and stakeholder management
  • Strong planning and coordination skills
  • Digitally savvy and comfortable with modern communication platforms
  • Discreet and careful in handling confidential information
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent command of English
  • knowledge of Dutch is a plus
  • Able to switch smoothly between strategy and execution
  • Strong relationship-building skills, including at senior level
  • Creative in both content and format
  • Comfortable working in an international environment
  • Strong awareness of inclusive communication
