Job Description:

The Corporate Banking Summer Analyst role is responsible for assisting in strategic financial planning, investment strategies, and risk management for corporate clients. The program spans 10 weeks and provides extensive training, focusing on growth and internal career opportunities. Responsibilities include financial analysis, client coverage, and market research.

Job Responsibility:

Assist in conducting in-depth financial analysis of corporate clients, including reviewing financial statements, projections, and industry trends
support the analysis of market and credit data to assess client risk profiles
assist Relationship Managers (RMs) in preparing client presentations, proposals, and marketing materials
conduct industry research to identify potential client opportunities and understand market dynamics
participate in client meetings and calls, observing and contributing where appropriate
research specific industries, companies, and economic trends to identify potential impacts on client portfolios
stay updated on relevant financial news, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape
support the credit underwriting process by gathering documentation and performing preliminary risk assessments
assist in preparing credit memos and reports for internal approvals
learn about various credit products and risk mitigation strategies
