Job Description:

Corporate Banking Program Analyst position in the Industrials Portfolio Management Team within Corporate and Investment Banking. This role is part of the Corporate Banking Early Career Program, working with Corporate Banking team members to support financing and relationship management efforts for large Fortune 500 companies and middle-market clients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Performing company and industry research
  • Preparing historical financial performance analysis and modeling future financial performance to identify key credit risks
  • Assisting in the preparation of credit underwriting materials and presentations for approval
  • Assisting with deal closings
  • Preparing client marketing materials utilizing Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills
  • Supporting the management of new and existing client relationships through detailed credit underwriting, financial analysis and projection modeling
  • Performing detailed credit underwriting, financial statement analysis, industry analysis, and projection modeling
  • Partnering with senior portfolio managers and assigned deal teams on the preparation of credit memorandums
  • Preparing discussion material for internal presentations with leadership and risk partners
  • Supporting client needs related to credit and related products
  • Completion of ad-hoc borrower and/or portfolio analysis
  • Applying credit policies and procedures and incorporate requirements into credit analysis, observations, and recommendations
  • Collaborating and consulting with peers, internal partners, stakeholders, and senior bankers
  • Completing periodic professional development training

Requirements:

  • 6+ months of Corporate Banking Portfolio Management experience or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Strong understanding of credit skills, financial accounting, and financial modeling
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Ability to act with integrity, good character, and exercise sound judgement
