Citi Corporate Banking is seeking Placement Analyst to join its Middle East & Africa Corporate Banking team in Dubai for a 6-month program, with a start date as soon as possible. As a Corporate Banking Placement Analyst, you will be an integral part of the team, supporting critical client relationships and transactions. Corporate Bankers are relationship-focused finance professionals who advise clients on a wide range of complex financial issues, including capital structure, liability management, liquidity and funding strategies, risk management, and investment solutions. Unique to Citi, Corporate Bankers also play a key role in allocating the firm's capital and executing those investments. This placement is designed to provide you with comprehensive exposure to the Corporate Banking environment, equipping you with the knowledge and training needed to excel.
Job Responsibility:
Support senior Corporate Bankers in managing client relationships and executing transactions
Conduct accounting and financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, and capital markets analysis
Perform fundamental risk and credit analysis
Liaise with various product partners across Citi to deliver comprehensive client solutions
Assist in the preparation and presentation of new ideas and strategic solutions to clients
Support the structuring of deals and contribute to overall deal execution
Gather and analyze company information to facilitate transactions, including industry research and detailed financial data analysis
Requirements:
Available for a 6-month placement
Strong academic record, having achieved or expecting to achieve a 2:1 equivalent to 3.0 GPA out of 4.0 at undergraduate level
Currently enrolled in your penultimate or final year of university, or a recent graduate seeking a placement experience
Intellectual curiosity and a proactive mindset
Highly developed communication, planning, and organizational skills
The ability to thrive and contribute effectively within diverse team environments
Fluency in English is required
A keen interest in business and a desire to develop a deep understanding of the financial industry
