Job Description:

You will join the Corporate Banking team in Amsterdam. Corporate Bankers are relationship-focused finance professionals responsible for understanding the wide range of complex financial issues facing our clients around the world. You will drive the client dialogue on capital structure, liability management, liquidity and funding strategies, risk management and investment solutions. You will also be responsible for deciding where to invest the firm’s capital and executing on those investments. You will work in partnership with various Citi groups across the firm including Risk Management, Investment Banking, and the Capital Markets Origination. You will join a training program in London to receive an in-depth education on a variety of topics to learn the fundamentals of the Analyst role and be introduced to Citi’s culture. The Analyst Program starts in mid July and begins with a six/eight week in-depth training program. You will then be placed with a team in Amsterdam to work with for the duration of the Program.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct accounting and financial statement analysis
  • Complete fundamental risk and credit analysis
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of client's business and its needs in order to shape and execute efficient relationship strategy
  • Liaise with product and Citi network partners on a daily basis
  • Assist in the presentation and development of new ideas to clients
  • Structure and execute cash management, trade finance and corporate finance deals
