Corporate Banking Associate

• Participate in structuring and executing transactions and supporting more senior staff with financial and credit analysis for assigned portfolio of loans within Corporate Banking Relationship Management functional area
• review and interpret credit policies and procedures and incorporate requirements into credit analysis, observations and lending recommendations
• represent the bank in developing and maintaining relationships with smaller or less complex clients
• present recommendations for growing and maintaining a portfolio of profitable clients in assigned market through pro-active, strategic and consistent business development and client retention
• perform or guide credit underwriting work of peers in accounting for all risk factors and providing risk rating recommendations
• collaborate and consult with peers, internal partners and stakeholders, including clients
• support the development and ongoing management of relationships with the most important and financially complex clients
• initiate and maintain strategic dialogue with clients and prospects to deliver the full suite of WF products and services including, but not limited to credit, capital markets, treasury management, macro solutions, global receivables & trade, and ABF
• manage direct client interaction, including directing and coordinating execution of transactions with key product partners
• provide support to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions

2+ years of Corporate Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

• Experience within credit underwriting and/or capital market underwriting
• strong credit, accounting and technical skills
