Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Corporate Banking Associate as part of the Technology, Media, and Technology (TMT) Corporate & Investment Banking team. The position will be responsible for supporting the underwriting and portfolio management of a broad range of corporate and investment banking solutions to a diverse group of companies in the TMT portfolio.

Job Responsibility:

Support underwriting and portfolio management of corporate and investment banking solutions for TMT portfolio
Support Corporate Banking Relationship Managers developing and maintaining strategic relationships with corporate clients
Participate in structuring and executing transactions
Support senior staff with financial and credit analysis
Review and interpret credit policies and procedures
Represent the bank in developing and maintaining relationships with clients
Present recommendations for growing and maintaining a portfolio of profitable clients
Perform or guide credit underwriting work of peers
Collaborate and consult with peers, internal partners and stakeholders
Support development and ongoing management of relationships with important and financially complex clients
Initiate and maintain strategic dialogue with clients and prospects
Manage direct client interaction including directing and coordinating execution of transactions
Provide support to leadership on implementing innovative business solutions

Requirements:

2+ years of Corporate Banking Relationship Management experience or equivalent
Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) within 90 days of hire if not available for transfer
Registration for FINRA Series 79 within 90 days of hire if not available for transfer
Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam within 90 days of hire if not available for transfer
Meet FINRA registration requirements including no statutory disqualification
Successful completion of criminal and regulatory checks and disclosure reviews

Nice to have:

Technology, Media, and Technology sector experience
2+ years of relevant work experience in portfolio management or equivalent including experience with leveraged lending
Strong credit, accounting and technical skills
Demonstrated excellence in working effectively as an individual and as part of a team
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
High level of initiative and accountability
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Ability to act with integrity, good character and exercise sound judgement
