The Corporate Banking Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting senior bankers in managing client relationships, conducting comprehensive financial analysis, and executing a range of corporate banking solutions. Job Responsibility
Assist in preparing client-facing materials, including proposals, pitch books, and presentations, to support relationship management and business development efforts
Conduct in-depth financial statement analysis, credit assessments, and valuation modeling to evaluate client financial performance and support transaction structuring
Support the origination and execution of corporate banking products, including credit facilities, treasury solutions, and capital markets advisory, in coordination with relevant product teams
Perform economic, industry, and company-specific research to identify market trends, competitive landscapes, and potential opportunities or risks
Prepare detailed written recommendations, statistical exhibits, and internal reports to facilitate informed decision-making
Understand and adhere to the firm's risk assessment frameworks, internal policies, and regulatory requirements, ensuring sound judgment in all business practices
Partner effectively with bankers, product specialists, and other internal stakeholders to deliver seamless client service
Requirements
2-5 years of relevant experience in corporate banking, investment banking, credit analysis, or a related financial services role
Proven proficiency in financial modeling, credit analysis, and advanced Excel skills
Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely
Demonstrated strong planning, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Solid understanding of corporate finance principles, financial products (e.g., loans, debt capital markets, treasury services), and the regulatory landscape affecting corporate banking
