Job Description

Beacon Hill is hiring a Secondment Corporate e-Data Attorney to support a busy corporate legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior-level attorney seeking hands-on corporate experience while working directly with client stakeholders and firm practice leaders. This secondment role will focus on corporate housekeeping and procurement contract review, along with broader corporate support responsibilities. The attorney will work closely with the client and internal practice leaders, serving as a key point of contact for day-to-day corporate legal matters. This position is scheduled for approximately 20 hours per week for the client. There may be opportunities to take on additional work internally with the eData team, such as document review or related projects, which could increase weekly hours.

Job Responsibility

  • Review, analyze, and negotiate procurement and vendor contracts
  • Manage general corporate housekeeping matters, including maintaining corporate records and supporting governance requirements
  • Provide day-to-day corporate legal support to the client and internal practice leaders
  • Assist with contracts management processes and workflow improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate contract execution
  • Support legal operations initiatives, where applicable
  • Handle additional eData-related assignments, including potential document review projects, as needed

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing
  • 3-4 years of corporate legal experience, either in-house or at a law firm
  • Experience handling general corporate housekeeping and contracts management
  • Strong experience reviewing and supporting procurement contracts
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong client communication

Nice to have

  • Exposure to legal operations is a plus
  • Prior paralegal experience before law school is viewed favorably
