Our client, a leading Denver law firm is seeking a 3 plus years corporate M&A attorney to support their busy corporate and private equity group. As a Corporate Associate attorney at the firm, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide array of corporate matters, with an emphasis on mergers & acquisitions, private placements, private equity and venture capital transactions, corporate and partnership formation, and corporate governance. Job Responsibility:
Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of corporate and commercial agreements
Manage and support M&A transactions, including due diligence, transaction structuring, and closing processes
Advise clients on corporate governance, entity formation, and general business matters
Conduct legal research and provide strategic counsel to clients on regulatory and compliance issues
Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors across various practice areas
Work directly with clients to understand their objectives and cultivate strong and lasting relationships
Requirements:
Must be a licensed attorney in good standing
A minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions
Proven expertise in private placements, corporate governance, and partnership formations
Strong knowledge of private equity and venture capital transactions
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience working directly with clients to provide strategic legal counsel
Commitment to attention to detail, integrity, and delivering high-quality work
