Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Corporate Attorney/Lawyer to support a broad portfolio of clients in Boston, Massachusetts. This is a Contract position focused on delivering practical legal guidance to organizations ranging from emerging businesses to well-established companies. The role centers on corporate and transactional matters and requires someone who is detail oriented and can provide sound counsel, manage complex legal work, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Job Responsibility

  • Advise clients on corporate governance, entity formation, commercial agreements, and other business-related legal matters
  • Structure, review, and negotiate transactional documents to help clients meet operational and strategic objectives
  • Provide legal counsel across a varied client base, including startup ventures and established organizations with ongoing corporate needs
  • Draft, analyze, and refine briefs, contracts, resolutions, and related legal documentation with a high degree of accuracy
  • Support corporate transactions by identifying legal risks, recommending practical solutions, and guiding matters through completion
  • Collaborate with business leaders and client representatives to align legal strategy with commercial priorities
  • Interpret applicable laws and regulations and translate complex legal issues into clear recommendations for clients
  • Contribute to litigation-related corporate matters when needed, including briefing and coordination on civil disputes

Requirements

  • Licensed Attorney in good standing with the ability to practice in the relevant jurisdiction
  • 5-10 years of experience handling corporate law, transactional work, or closely related legal matters
  • Demonstrated background in corporate transactions, including drafting, review, and negotiation of legal agreements
  • Experience preparing legal briefs and other formal written materials with strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of civil litigation principles and the ability to support matters that intersect with corporate legal issues
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to advise clients clearly and build trust across diverse organizations
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a contract-based legal environment
