Job Description

A boutique corporate law firm is seeking a junior‑level Corporate Associate (3–5 years’ experience) to join its growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants hands-on responsibility, direct client interaction, and exposure to sophisticated corporate matters in a collaborative, lean environment. The associate will support a range of corporate transactions and general corporate matters, working closely with partners and clients from start to finish. Ideal for attorneys who enjoy being deeply involved in deal work rather than siloed or heavily layered teams.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist with corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, asset sales, and financings
  • Draft and review transaction documents such as purchase agreements, operating agreements, and ancillary deal documents
  • Provide general corporate support to private companies, startups, and founders
  • Conduct due diligence and manage closing processes
  • Work directly with partners and clients on day-to-day matters

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience practicing corporate law
  • Experience with M&A, venture financing, or general corporate matters
  • Strong drafting, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
  • California bar license required

What we offer

  • Competitive compensation and benefits
  • Medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance
  • Eligibility to enroll in company 401(k) plan
