Job Description:

Dvorak Law Group is seeking an associate attorney to join our law firm’s corporate practice group. The ideal candidate will have interest in complex business and corporate transactions such as finance, real estate matters, negotiating commercial agreements, and/or corporate governance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work collaboratively within an experienced corporate practice group
  • Collaborate with other attorneys across other practice groups within the firm, as well as clients and third-party advisors
  • Assist with general corporate matters, such as entity formation, corporate governance, and commercial agreements
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and transactional agreements
  • Conduct due diligence and identify and assess legal risks associated with corporate transactions
  • Advise clients on legal and regulatory compliance issues, including securities laws, antitrust laws, and other regulatory matters

Requirements:

  • 0 – 5 years of experience in private practice preferred
  • Effective analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to complete projects within deadlines and maintain effective working relationships with all members of the firm
  • Strong work ethic and action-oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility for transactions
  • Ability to effectively work independently and with legal and business teams
