Job Description

You will join the Corporate and Leverage Finance (CLF) team at Credit Agricole CIB Australia as an Analyst. The CLF team provides debt arrangement services in support of acquisition financing, capital restructuring and growth activities of its client base. The CLF Sydney team comprises 5 officers across various levels of seniority. Working as part of a small and dynamic local team that forms part of a larger global team, you will have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the transaction process.

Job Responsibility

  • Preparation of credit submissions which will involve the research, analysis and evaluation of a variety of industries and specific companies
  • including analysing past and projected financial performance, undertake due diligence generally, consideration of industry and ESG dynamics and other relevant factors to the transaction
  • Support seniors from the CLF team and assist in the origination effort through the preparation of marketing/ presentation materials/ RFP responses for both corporate/ leverage and structured telecom finance customers
  • Assist in building and reviewing dynamic financial models to analyse credit opportunities (including testing assumptions and sensitivities)
  • Assist in structuring of transactions to achieve optimum outcomes
  • Preparation of periodic credit reviews and other internal reporting in a timely manner
  • Maintenance of credit and marketing files
  • Presentation of transaction opportunities to credit teams
  • Manage aspects of the loan process with the middle and back office as required
  • Monitor compliance of credit facilities to agreed conditions, collateral and covenant requirements
  • Ensure compliance with all internal/external requirements, including KYC and Compliance aspects

Requirements

  • Be French citizen
  • Be less than 28 years old
  • Be graduated of Master Degree
  • Postgraduate with a Master Degree from an University or a Business School, with a specialization in Finance
  • A first experience in Banking is necessary
  • Professional approach with good presentation skills
  • Strong computer skills including use of Excel, Powerpoint, Word
  • Developed oral and written presentation skills
  • Fluent in French & English
