Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking candidates to join our CIB Banking COO Office which drives business execution and strategy supporting the bankers and executives that lead our coverage verticals of Consumer & Retail, Healthcare, Energy & Power, Banks & Financial Institutions, Industrials, Technology, Media & Telecommunications, Real Estate, Gaming, Lodging & Leisure, Sponsor and Regional Investment Banking, and product lines of M&A, DCM, ECM. This is a hybrid role with some in office expectation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting COO and Group Head Executives in pipeline analysis, initiative tracking, project execution, and banker scorecards
  • Researching and analyzing client information and data across multiple tools and platforms, including but not limited to: Client profitability systems, Loan tracking systems, Company hierarchy management platform, and Salesforce.com
  • Assisting in running vertical or product wide planning sessions and reoccurring pipeline meetings including preparation of presentations materials
  • Analyzing performance by Sector and Banker via data analysis from internal CRM salesforce.com and 3rd party data providers like Dealogic for fee competitor benchmarking
  • Monitoring data accuracy and integrity within CRM pipelines and internal company hierarchy management platforms
  • Balancing workload with peers, in the US and internationally, to deliver timely work product in the fast paced environment of corporate and investment banking
  • Effectively utilizing skillsets such as: project management, data analysis, problem-solving skills, financial business acumen, the ability to integrate data/financial analysis into streamlined presentations, and knowledge or ability to learn key systems including Salesforce & other internal financial reporting tools

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Experience working within Investment Banking
  • Financial analysis experience including company assessment (leverage, working capital, etc.), global market awareness (currency, commodities, trade, etc.), and internal client/LOB financial performance
  • Experience with customer relationship management systems (CRMs) such as Salesforce.com
  • Experience in problem analysis, solution implementation, and change management
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
  • Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels - flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manipulate data sets (BI Tools, Pivot Tables, Macros)
