We currently have an opening for a Corporate Affairs & Advocacy Relations Manager based in our Korea office. Reporting to the Head of Korea Corporate Affairs & Advocacy Relations, this role will work closely with cross-functional brand teams and key internal and external stakeholders across the region to support the development and strengthening of the company’s corporate presence, reputation, and stakeholder engagement.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and execute integrated corporate and product PR strategies aligned with brand and corporate communications objectives
  • Lead the development of creative, compliant content to educate and engage internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage end-to-end communications activities, including corporate and product communications, issues and crisis management, advocacy campaigns, and proactive engagement initiatives
  • Lead Patient Advocacy Group (PAG) communication, ensuring governance-aligned collaboration, transparency, and responsible stakeholder engagement
  • Develop and maintain core PR assets, including media lists, key messages, press materials, coverage tracking, and performance reports
  • Build and sustain strong media relationships, securing earned media opportunities and evaluating quality and impact of coverage
  • Manage and collaborate with external PR and advocacy agencies, providing strategic direction and overseeing execution, budgets, and resources
  • Monitor the external environment and emerging issues, providing timely risk assessment and strategic counsel to internal stakeholders
  • Support and strengthen internal communications to ensure clear, timely, and consistent alignment of organizational narratives across internal stakeholders, enabling informed engagement and effective execution
  • Measure, analyze, and optimize PR, media, and advocacy performance through insights and reporting

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to develop strategic, creative, and metrics-driven communications plans that support business and reputation objectives
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong communication, negotiation, forward planning, and project management skills, with high execution discipline
  • Demonstrated business acumen and the ability to partner effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ability to operate effectively in complex, matrixed, and multicultural organizations, managing multiple priorities across regions
  • 7, 8+ years of experience in communications, with a strong track record in brand and corporate communications
  • pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience preferred
  • Prior experience at an international PR agency and/or in-house role within a multinational pharmaceutical company strongly preferred
  • Broad communications experience, including media engagement and patient advocacy group interaction, within a compliant and regulated environment
