An opportunity to join AFH Wealth Management, one of the UK's leading independent financial advisory and wealth management firms. The purpose of this role is to primarily assist the Corporate Team in providing first class administration support to the IFA's and their clients.

Job Responsibility

  • Work closely with IFAs to deliver teams goals and targets
  • Complete team's invoices and monitor payments for new and existing clients
  • Prepare client annual governance reports and relevant packs for pension scheme members
  • Assist Technicians with the re-broking of existing group protection schemes
  • Support Technicians with processing all new business within the team and providing regular updates on progress to clients and IFAs
  • Maintain, monitor and assist Technicians with the smooth running of the schemes including annual governance, renewals and processing new joiners and leavers
  • Routinely and consistently follow company procedures and compliance requirements
  • Work as part of a team and accept shared responsibility

Requirements

  • Strong administration skills and experience, preferably in a professional services environment
  • Good working knowledge of Excel is essential
  • Knowledge of automatic enrolment legislation is preferred
  • Working knowledge of payroll processes or workplace pension administration is preferred
  • Excellent numeracy, communication and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, maintaining a high level of professional conduct with clients via telephone, email and written communication
  • High level of organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines and targets
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
