Job Description

Job Responsibility

  • Lead day-to-day corporate accounting activities, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with U.S. GAAP
  • Manage and mentor a team of experienced accountants, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth
  • Create and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements to ensure completeness and accuracy of reported results
  • Partner with the Controller on financial reporting, consolidation, and analysis of corporate and divisional performance
  • Oversee the implementation and integration of key financial systems, including lease accounting, fixed asset management, and consolidation software
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, consistency, and data integrity across multiple ERP platforms
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets and support audit readiness
  • Coordinate annual external audits and regulatory filings, serving as the primary point of contact for auditors
  • Participate in cross-functional projects supporting organizational transformation, scalability, and accounting and system modernization

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Master’s degree or CPA preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including exposure to corporate or multi-entity environments
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls
  • Experience managing or mentoring accounting teams
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and consolidation systems
  • Public accounting or audit background is a plus
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to balance strategic priorities with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with M&A integration preferred
  • Positive, proactive, and collaborative leadership style
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to effectively and independently problem solver
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask and reevaluate priorities when necessary
