Job Description:

Our client, a well-known industrial equipment supplier in Mississauga is looking for a highly motivated Corporate Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations and will work closely with senior leadership to prepare monthly reports and oversee day-to-day accounting functions.

Job Responsibility:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting to management
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data security
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and tax regulations
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support
Contribute to the development and improvement of accounting processes
Gradually assume leadership responsibilities, including mentoring and supporting team members
Assist with month-end closing and preparation of financial reports

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience working in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Proficiency with SAP Concur
Experience in payroll, financial reporting, and tax compliance
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Comfortable with occasional travel to the USA (expenses covered)
