This role involves managing high-value corporate accounts and leading tailored insurance solutions. Responsibilities include mentoring junior staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leveraging Acturis for documentation and workflow management.
Job Responsibility:
Manage a portfolio of corporate clients, typically £100k+ in premium size
Handle 1-2 large-scale renewals per month, with a strong focus on service delivery
Act as the lead client contact, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and up-sell opportunities
Provide mentorship and oversight to junior team members
Conduct regular one-to-ones, performance reviews, team meetings, and management reporting
Support in developing strategies for client growth and team performance
Collaborate across underwriting, claims, and internal teams to ensure tailored solutions
Maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal governance policies
Actively use Acturis for all documentation, client records, and workflow management
Requirements:
5-10 years of experience within the corporate insurance market
Experience working with commercial clients (Mid-Corp or Corporate) with a desire to step into leadership
Proven success in managing clients with premiums of £50k+, ideally £100k+
Familiarity with cross-class commercial lines
Exposure to team mentoring or management responsibilities is a plus
Strong understanding of the insurance renewal lifecycle and regulatory environment
