  • Review of annual reports, census, property tax and other miscellaneous filings with governmental authorities
  • Manage Bentley’s sales and use process and address sales tax questions that may require independent research of sales tax laws in various jurisdictions
  • Manage Bentley’s Canadian GST/HST process, reviewing taxability and overseeing compliance
  • Handle audits for state, local, sales and use tax, &/or, other
  • SALT-related adjustments related to the US Federal income tax filings
  • Analysis of U.S. taxable income and preparation of tax adjustments for US corporate state and local income tax returns, and franchise tax returns
  • Prepare and/or review quarterly and year-end State tax provision calculations, including tax account reconciliations and roll forwards, as well as resulting journal entries
  • Continuously look to improve departmental methods for information gathering and analysis through internal and external tools
  • Assist with the SALT aspects of acquisition due diligence, integrations, compliance, and restructurings
