Job Description:

To work as a Core Officer, providing a high level of customer service at our client site. Act as the first point of contact for all staff and visitors entering the building. Liaise with the client and stakeholders. Working alongside the wider Security Team and all service lines on site. Ensuring the protection of persons and property and thereby the provision of a safe and secure environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conducting searches

  • Undertake internal and external patrols and inspections
  • Meet and greet visitors
  • Escalating security and maintenance issues

  • Management of Contractors
  • Completing permit to work forms
  • Carry out escort duties
  • Ensuring no unauthorised persons in prohibited areas
  • Maintaining accurate records
  • Manage ad-hoc projects/tasks
  • Monitoring and responding to CCTV and intruder alarms
  • Liaison with Building Services
  • Key Control and management
  • General security duties
  • Monitoring, escalating and responding to e-mails

Requirements:

  • Security Industry Training Organisation basic qualification or equivalent experience
  • CCTV licence
  • Excellent literacy and communication skills
  • Excellent verbal and written English
  • Good telephone manner
  • Computer literate (E-mail, Word, Excel)
  • Capable of using all security equipment necessary
  • Consistently smart appearance
  • Reliability, energetic, self-motivation
  • Ability to use own initiative and work without supervision
  • Ability to cope with multiple tasks in a calm professional manner
